Student Performance Analysis


Student Performance Analysis Project using Power BI


In this project, I utilized Power BI to analyze and visualize a dataset sourced from Kaggle, comprising approximately 6,000 rows and 20 columns related to student performance metrics. The goal was to derive actionable insights and present a comprehensive overview of factors influencing academic achievement.

Key Highlights:

Dataset Exploration : Managed and cleaned a complex dataset to ensure data integrity and accuracy. The dataset included various attributes such as student demographics, academic performance, and attendance records.

Visualization and Analysis : Employed a range of Power BI visualizations to uncover trends and patterns. I created interactive dashboards that included charts, graphs, and heat maps to illustrate key performance indicators and correlations.

Insights and Reporting : Developed detailed reports that provided insights into student performance across different parameters. Key findings included trends in academic achievement relative to attendance, demographic factors affecting grades, and performance comparisons among different student groups.

User Interactivity :  Designed user-friendly dashboards that allowed stakeholders to filter and explore data dynamically, enabling a deeper understanding of performance metrics and facilitating data-driven decision-making.

This project not only enhanced my technical skills in Power BI but also provided a practical understanding of how data visualization can be leveraged to improve educational outcomes and inform strategic decisions.👨‍🎓👩‍🎓
